The District Association (DA) is one of many Associations that make up the CTC national network. As well as corresponding with HQ, the D.A. organises events for its members within Essex. The D.A. itself is made up of sections based in Brentwood, Chelmsford, Havering (Upminster) and the Wickford-based South East Group. Each of these sections organise Sunday rides details of which can be found on other pages.

The DA's events, both cycling and social, encourage the sections to get together and to take part in some less-then competitive rivalry for the honour of the inter-section trophy. The events being organised this year can be found here.

The D.A. also occasionally organise mapreading events and slide shows.

The Sections frequently hold events of their own such as invitation rides for newcomers, Easter and Summer tours, Clubnights and Christmas Dinners.
