Event:Colchester 40/40
Date: Sunday 15th June 2008 - 10:00 start.
Start: Copford Green, near the Alma Public House.
Organised by the Essex D.A. CTC.

Organiser's note:
A short ride around some very pretty and flat country lanes where cars are in short supply. The ride takes place on Sunday 15th June starting at 10.00 from Copford Green about 2 miles from Marks Tey Station. The route proceeds through Messing, Tolleshunt D'Arcy, Tiptree and then back to Copford Green. A generous time limit makes for a relaxed journey. Entrants can ride the route according to a routesheet to be provided at the start or be part of a group following an experienced leader.

A few rules to be observed:
* No parking please at Copford Green. Cars should be left at Marks Tey station (£1 all day Sunday).
* The ride starts and ends near The Alma public house . The Alma is happy to prepare a jacket potato lunch if advised beforehand by informing the organiser of the event.
* All bikes must be mechanically sound.
