This is a short distance ride with a generous 4 hour time limit allowing stress free enjoyment of quiet country lanes west of Colchester. The route from Copford Green initially heads west to Messing, then through Tolleshunt D’Arcy, Tolleshunt Knight, Tiptree and then back to Copford Green. The longer 40 mile route takes the route out to Rowhedge.

Start time 10.00 a.m. near The Alma PH. Entrants intending to drive to this event should park cars at Marks Tey Station car park (cost £1) and cycle the two miles to the start.
