Preparations are in hand for the 80k that will start at 9.30 from St John’s Church Hall, Mountnessing. £3.00 entry fee.

The route will be different to previous years. With the hope of attracting more entrants there will be two loops of 40 kms each with the end of the first loop being the return to the Church Hall for an obligatory cup of tea (yes, an obligatory 15 minute stop for tea!). If at this point anybody feels the journey is too much then they need not continue the second loop although will obviously be recorded as not having completed the event. There is a time limit but it will be a generous one- no need to rush!

The first loop will be to High Easter, the second to Toot Hill. I’ll make the route sheets available as soon as possible.

St John’s Church Hall, Mountnessing where the event will start. Anybody driving to the event would be best parking their cars in the car park by Mountnessing windmill which is a very short distance away.
