What if I get a puncture?
Don't worry at least not while you're riding amongst an Essex CTC section. It's a well established CTC tradition for the whole group to stop and wait to allow time for puncture repair. As a newcomer somebody from the group would probably repair the puncture for you if you need help. Just in case the puncture is too difficult to repair it is very important for you to come equipped with a spare inner tube correct for your wheel size (if in doubt you should check the correct tube size with your local cycle shop).
