The Southeast Essex group meets at the Wickford Cafe, 3-5 The Broadway, Wickford SS11 7AD every Sunday at 9.15am, ready to ride at 9.30am, unless otherwise stated.

We normally leave Wickford in two groups: one group rides at an average speed of about 12mph, and the second group goes more slowly and on a more direct route to the café stop, where both groups meet. After the café stop, there is usually only one group going on to the lunch stop. We ride at the speed of the slowest rider and if you get a puncture, someone will stop to help you. We are a non-competitive “leisure for pleasure” group. Riders not intending to go onto lunch after elevenses will be able to return to the starting point by joining the returning group led by an experienced leader.
